Our afterschool program will take students through the process of building a business -
from Design & Marketing to Profit & Loss. Along the way participating students will get the chance to meet and learn from industry experts in Design, Marketing, Finance, Shipping, Ecommerce and more. Proceeds from every purchase help fund the class as well as go directly to school uniform purchases, college trips and SAT & ACT preparation. You can purchase items from our ecommerce shop through NiceThings.NYC.

Annual BOSS Founders Mark Giles
4-on-4 Basketball Tournament
Mark Giles was a founding senior editor of ESPN The Magazine, who worked to start Business of Sports School (BOSS), a public high school to prepare underserved youth for careers in the sports industry. Sadly, just as the school opened in the fall of 2009, Mark was diagnosed with leukemia. He passed away in 2011, but his contribution to New York City students lives on with the achievements of BOSS students. All proceeds from this event will be awarded to BOSS graduates who exhibit academic performance and a commitment to the community consistent with Mark's vision.
The 2018 Mark Giles Classic will be held at John Jay College (59th Street and 9th Ave.) on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 4:30 p.m.
For more information on this year's tournament, please contact Coach Clarence Tennell at firstname.lastname@example.org
